Jeff fell into a daze, drumming his fingers on his forty-fifth financial report of the day. He’d screwed up. He’d long since blown past his quota and all it would bring was higher expectations for him to do the same tomorrow.
He groaned. I could try to hide some of them and slack off tomorrow… but they’d just check the computer logs. If I got caught, they’d dock my pay.
The jig was up. They’d know he was phoning it in on all those months… unless he tried to play it up like some sort of epiphany and then willingly pour more of himself into this fucking dead-end accounting job.
So, he did all he could do to preserve his sanity. Jeff penned his resignation.
It’s not like there was any shortage of terrible jobs. He’d just need something to pay the bills. Something that didn’t drain his soul that much.

Jeff ended up eating three platefuls. It made sense why he would feel so drained, but he couldn’t figure out why he felt so… full.
He rubbed his stomach, confirming he’d just reached the start of his appetite of his eighteen-year-old self. Three plates of eggs, bacon, and toast wouldn’t put a dent in his usual appetite. It wasn’t food he’d had too much of.
This was the familiar sensation of being pent up.
That can’t be right. I came a crap-ton today.
Danielle put her hand on his shoulder, snuggling close enough to press her full breasts against his back. “Eat too much?”
Jeff shook his head, leaned in close and confided in her. “I feel full. Like locked and loaded with ammunition.”
